Investing Zen

There are a lot of people who are so caught up in the constant hustle and bustle of the “City of Lights,” that they miss out on the simple pleasure of Investing Zen. Sure, the stock market is one of the main economic engines of our country, but not everyone can jump into the bull markets just because everyone else is. So why not invest in Investing Zen, a method that can teach you how to get ahead of the market without making any risky mistakes or going completely against the grain? As far as I can tell, there is no magic, time-tested way to become rich quickly, either by stocks or in real estate (although those things are very valuable and very stable). But with the right combination of investment strategies, a good sense of risk management and some luck, it’s possible to create a steady stream of income that will allow you to pay off your debts and become debt free over time.

What many people don’t realize, when it comes to investing in general, is that there is actually a lot more planning and strategizing that goes into investing than meets the eye. You see, in Investing Zen, there is a whole book that teaches you how to invest your money so that you always make money and never lose it, instead building a savings fund and eventually using that money to retire comfortably. Sounds pretty dreamy doesn’t it? It should.

And that’s part of the attraction of Investing Zen. In order to retire wealthy, you have to first have a lot of money. So the book walks you through creating your own investing plan based on research and even giving you a specific example of how to invest your own money. This way, there is no guesswork involved (unless you want to be) and you can start investing immediately and see results almost immediately. The book also has an excellent library of helpful videos, where you can watch someone else invest their money for you in a fun video presentation.

Another nice aspect of Investing Zen is the built-in financial planning section. The book starts out with a brief discussion of why it’s smart to use short term investing strategies, rather than long term investing strategies. That’s because short term investing gives you the opportunity to quickly turn your money around without a lot of hassle and headaches. You’ll also get some ideas on how you can make your investments even more profitable by using diversification and even options.

I think the biggest advantage of Investing Zen is that it is extremely accessible. All of the work is done online, so you don’t have to worry about finding a physical book to read, and you don’t have to worry about driving to a storefront to buy it or finding an outlet that has it in stock. Instead, all you need is access to the internet and your laptop. It really doesn’t get much better than that for investing. Other similar products include Successful Investors, Money Master, and Straight Up Investment. All of these are very popular, and they have their advantages and disadvantages.

So if you’re looking for a beginner’s investment guide that’s easy to read and learn from, offers lots of charts, and gives you a variety of strategies to choose from, Investing Zen may be exactly what you’re looking for. But as I said, this is only one of many excellent books on investing out there. There are literally hundreds of books like this available, if you do an online search. One thing I should mention is that all of these books have been greatly influenced by Mark Twain’s humorous and oft-times outrageously true stories about investing. If you want a good general book about investing, I highly recommend that you look into The Complete Trader by Benjamin Graham.
